005: Yet Not I

It’s all about me! Isn’t this the attitude that drives our culture every day? We are told we can accomplish anything if we believe in ourselves. It’s no wonder that Christians have become infected with this philosophy too. However, the Bible says, according to Gal 2:20, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me…..” Does God really expect me to die to myself and let Christ take over? How can I abandon the plans that I have for my life? What about my desires, my preferences, my opinions?  Even if this is possible, what’s in it for me?
